Founded in 2024 by visionary juvenile hall educator and mental health professional Jennifer Bell, Empowered Jobs is at the forefront of addressing the impacts of incarceration on finding quality employment.
Empowered Jobs has a mission to reduce rates of recidivism in the United States, address its ongoing mass incarceration crisis, and support compassionate and fair legislation for a better criminal justice system nationwide.
Created as a class project turned not-for-profit organization, Empowered Jobs has fostered a warm and welcoming environment for formerly incarcerated humans to explore free resources and content catered toward their individual successes post-incarceration.
